I want to ‘give out’
For something to show
To have and keep hold of
To see have-and know

For the treasures inside
are not here to touch
And possessions that are
Aren’t worth half as much

A string of words can please the ears
A loud expression I can carefully sing
Yet in no sound-nothing-silence
This ‘nothing’ can be everything

There’s beauty that the world won’t know
That needs no outwardness
But here’s the faith-you know it’s there
The more it grows as we grow less

The peaceful healing love of God
Is present when we search and move
An everlasting treasure
that we need not fear, explain or prove

And though I sometimes saw a glimpse
I live to witness more
For I believe the plans of God
And God is what its all for.
